Before becoming a director of Robotex, Skunčikas spent the previous seven years leading the Baltic States / Slovenia company Oracle, a global information technology corporation. Having started his career as a telecommunications and data network engineer at a Lithuanian-owned systems integration company in 2000, he has since worked for other global IT giants, including Microsoft, Lenovo and IBM.

He will succeed Andrius Kochanskas, the current CEO of the company. According to D. Tamoševičienė, Robotex has become one of the market flagships in Lithuania over the last twelve years, and the contribution provided by the company's founders has been a significant one. According to the Chairman of the Board, in order to implement the strategic objectives, the Robotex team is to be expanded and strengthened in the near future; in the area of original innovation in particular.
The SBA company Robotex deploys robotics and automation solutions in furniture manufacturing, wood processing, electronics, the food industry, logistics and companies in other sectors in Lithuania and abroad. These projects aim to help businesses increase production efficiency, ensure more stable product quality, reduce production costs and help employees avoid physically demanding and monotonous work.
