„Given that questions have been raised regarding the fictitious or purely formal employment of individuals linked to politicians, I believe an anti-corruption assessment is required. As we are talking here about public funds, about the use of funds by public sector institutions, I will propose (the question – ELTA) that this be included on the agenda so that these circumstances can be clarified. Our next meeting may be in a week,“ Anušauskas told ELTA.
As reported, on Wednesday, the LRT Investigations Department revealed that Sinkevičienė, the wife of Prime Minister Sinkevičius, not only became head of the Public and International Relations Department at Kaunas District Municipality without a competitive selection process, but also works at Raudondvario Dvaras, which is subordinate to the municipality.

However, her contact details are not publicly available, and the institution's deputy director claimed not to be aware of such a colleague. According to her, there is no specific person at the manor responsible for public relations; the head of the institution handles these matters.
